1908 Native American vintage First Edition paperback book Oleta Littleheart Lure of the Indian Country and a Romance of its Great Resort
Illustrated with 103 black and white captioned photos, including many photographs of early Oklahoma politiciamns, and numerous black and white line drawings as tail pieces. Numerous illustrated pictorial period ads. Its prupose was to generate interest in Sulphur Springs Resort, the mineral springs resort that had begun to develop near Sulphur, OK, in the 1890s, partly on Indian land. In 1902 this land became part of the Sulphur Springs Indian Reservation later renamed the Platt National Park, and is now known as the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
