1960 Favorite Stories for Boys & Girls vintage children's book by Sidonie Matsner Gruenberg, author of Wonderful Story of How You Were Born

One of Mrs. Gruenberg's most successful books for children was “The Wonderful Story of How You Were Born,” first published in 1952. When a new edition appeared in 1970; Eda J. LeShan wrote in The New York Times's Sunday Book Review that it was a “classic” in the field. She contrasted it with books giving children “too many facts about bodily functions with too little emphasis on the experience of being human.”
